What is collagen?

Collagen is a fibrous protein that makes up to 80% of the skin. These fibres give the skin its firmness, strength and structure but unfortunately they break down over time and from our 20’s we lose collagen at a rate of 1% per year. It is then that we start seeing the presence and then the increase of wrinkles and sagging skin.
